Due to the short distance from the Salvador International airport you can easily get to Morro de São Paulo via aircraft, by sea or over land.

By air:
Get to the island within 20 minutes with Adey and Aeorstar airtaxi. You can buy tickets inside the airport. We will take your reservation on demand. The price is about 200 RS

Over land
There are two possibilities:

Take the BR 324 and BR 101 from Salvador to Valença (300 km). Or take a bus from “Rodoviária”, Salvador.

Much shorter: take the car ferry from Salvador to Bom Despacho on the Itaparica island. From there you need 2 hrs. by car or bus to Valença.  From there you have to take a ferry (90 min) or boat taxi (20 min) to Morro de São Paulo. Your car can be parked safely in Valença.

By sea
Right by the yacht club near the historic center of Salvador (Pelourinho) you find the “Terminal Maritimo”. From there you can take several ferries daily directly to Morro de São Paulo. It take 2 hrs. and the price is about 50 RS$.
